The viewing and Overthinking of Myself

Bit about Me

People often forget that engineering and art go hand in hand. I started out in the art world, earned my associate's degree in Visual Communication, and went on to work in the printing industry. Even then, I felt like I could do more, so I decided to take on something more challenging: mechanical engineering.

I'm naturally curious, and I like learning across many different fields. That curiosity has taken me from stocks and bonds to banking and taxes, and it even led me to build my own stock dashboard web page, where I also learned how different currencies affect the market.

My background gives me a different perspective in engineering. I don't just stay inside the lines; I look for creative solutions. I also bring skills from my past work, like the Adobe Creative Suite, a strong eye for detail, and an understanding of marketing. That design experience has helped me pick up tools like SolidWorks and Fusion 360 quickly.

My next steps are landing an engineering internship while applying to transfer to a four-year university. In the meantime, I'm always working on new projects to keep learning on my own while also studying for the for Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA).
